SOhome have specialized in IT infrastructure related to maritime environments. The standard shall be the same at land or sea, but – pulling cable when it comes to hulls and bulkheads are very challenging when it comes to quality and duration.
This has lead to the creation of new maritime cables for use in the most extreme environments. The transmission standards have to be compliant with applications higher than 10 gigabits.
The network has a service life of at least 20 years. In addition, the equipment withstands the harsh impact of tem-perature changes, moisture from the salt water and vibration.
